In order to update the CartWinPro database properly it needs to be located in the C:\CW40Data directory.

If the data directory is located in C:\Program Files (x86)\ ..... the Windows operating system will "hide the original files and the update can not replace them with the new files.

First ensure that the current database is located in C:\CW40Data (either install the update to this directory or shift the current database to this directory.

To adjust CartWinPro to use the correct  dataabse directory C:\CW40Data please follow thse steps.

1. Click "Files"in the menu bar
2. Click on "Database Directory ..."
3. Click on the ">" in front of Local Drive C:
4. Click on "CW40Data"
5. Click on "OK"
